The 2 Step Process, Before Bed, for Accelerating Growth
All of us want hacks, we have tons of information. But we also know it’s not just having the information it’s what we do with it.
The world is always looking for ways to do things easier. By now we have learned that there isn’t an easy way. But none the less there are methods we can learn from neuroscience and self development.
How can we be more productive? How can we force ourselves to focus? How can we accomplish the tasks we have for ourselves? How can we be clear about what it is we have to do?
I was recently listening to a podcast video clip with a gentlemen I had come across in my learnings last year named, Jim Kwik, mentioned something I thought I would try and I thought we all should do it. If you’re not already.
We tend to fall in and out of habits and routines. Often times, things like this, remind us to utilize all the tools at our disposal.
Right before bed, it’s time to take out a journal. Here you will write what you aim to accomplish the next day. Simple enough right?
Does that mean you will do it with me?
Here are the 2 Steps to do before bed.
Step 1: Write down 3 things you hope to accomplish tomorrow, Personally and for your personal life.
Step 2: Write down 3 things you’d like to accomplish tomorrow, Professionally for your professional life.
When you wake up in the morning, before you look at your phone, let that be the first thing you read to remind yourself what the mission is for the day.
Priming your brain before bed to brings clarity and instills purpose.
